Commercial Remodeling & Additions

If you’re in need of additional office space, an expansion of your existing restaurant, shop, or any type of business at all or perhaps you’re simply looking to maximize the space you have, Barry Edwards Construction can guide you every step of the way.

The first step is to meet and discuss your vision. We can work with the plans you provide or we can take care of everything from our end. We will coordinate every aspect of your addition or remodel from the day ground breaks all the way until the last fixture is put into place. Unlike many contractors, we are involved every step of the way ensuring you receive full attention to every detail.

Barry Edwards Construction handles all permits and requirements, and all homes are built to code.

A detailed estimate of your home’s cost will be provided to you before construction begins, as well as a budget for various aspects of your business giving you more control over what you spend.

There will be no surprise bills. All billing will be discussed prior to the start of construction so that you know exactly when each item is to be paid for in what is known as a draw.

*Changes made to the original plans by the owner will change the price of construction.

Planning

Barry Edwards Construction will meet with you and help you devise your plan for construction, and will continue to work with you until you are satisfied with the direction you’d like to go.

We are equipped to help you obtain plans or blueprints when needed, and we will guide you efficiently so that all aspects of your project meet and surpass city and county regulations. Our goal is to provide you with a final product that surpasses industry standards.

Construction Process

Every aspect of your project will be supervised from start to finish. You don’t have to worry about surprises or unknowns. We will not skimp on materials and will provide you with the best materials that fit your budget.

Through each phase of construction, from the foundation, to framing, to drywall and trim and everything in between, we will keep you up to date on the process so that you always know where your project stands.

Billing

Because each project is unique, billing can vary in terms of the process. In most cases, the customer will pay for construction through draws, which may occur once every few weeks. Before construction begins, we will go over each point in construction that a draw will occur, which is normally at the completion of various phases of construction.

We can work directly with your bank or lending institution for billing purposes if and when needed.

Final Inspection and Occupancy

Once your project is complete, we will complete a walkthrough with you to ensure you are satisfied with the final product. Our goal is to ensure you are well satisfied. We understand that you are spending your hard earned money, and we pride ourselves on knowing our customers will call us again when and if needed, as well as confidently pass our name to their family and friends.
